Sales Operations Coordinator

We at inventive Search, are currently working with a client of ours, who are looking to actively recruit for a Sales Operations Coordinator to join the organisation on a remote working basis. 

 This role will be responsible will be accountable for delivering ongoing sales forecast reports to pertinent individuals and departments, including but not limited to, the Sales Management Team. Additionally, the successful candidate will oversee CRM solutions, ensuring a high level of accuracy, resolving issues in collaboration with the relevant Account Manager, and actively evaluating and enhancing inefficient or sluggish sales processes. The primary focus will be on continuous improvement of sales efficiency and customer support. 

This is a remote opportunity, however travel to London would be required bi-monthly.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor and assess the precision of sales teams' forecasts. 

  • Compile pipeline data and conduct analyses to support the Sales Director and Sales Leaders, facilitating comprehensive pipeline reviews. 

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive, end-to-end sales and service processes, identifying continuous improvement opportunities. 

  • Ensure projects initiated by all other functional areas of the business are able to be successfully adopted by the Sales team, for example - new product go-to-market requirements. 

  • Develop and maintain the relevant sales administration documentation, policies and processes, encompassing best practice and appropriate KPI data. 

  • Analysis of Sales Performance & Manage a monthly performance league table with finance. 

  • Assist in roadmap plans around integration including transforming sales. 

  • Track & monitor Lead Incentive scheme. 

  • Develop and implement continuous process improvement plans. 

  • Communicate and coach sales on process changes. 

  • Coordinate and manage account moves/changes within Salesforce. 

  • Enforce Salesforce data accuracy and completeness. 

  • Regular data cleansing of Salesforce 

  • Track adoption statistics of key sales tools, such as Salesforce. 

  • Product Portfolio: regularly review and improve CRM accuracy. 

  • Work closely with the Alliances managers when required for larger deals. 

  • Working with Finance to reconcile any differences in revenues. 

  • Provide any relevant reporting to the Sales Director, that supports the weekly forecasting calls.  

  • Support weekly sales management forecasting calls & backlog calls when needed.  

  • Provide management training and support around reporting when required.  

  • Data mapping for Vendor campaigns with Alliance and Sales teams. 

  • Compile management packs and PowerPoints for board and Sales Leaders meetings. 

 

Skills / Experience: 

  • Previous experience undertaking a sales operations role in an IT environment would be preferable.  

  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and possesses high confidence in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial and sales data, as well as identifying and communicating key trends. 

  • Excellent administration skills and highly proficient in IT and MS packages such as MS Word and Excel. 

  • Possesses an ability to confidently analyse and articulate trends as well as large sets of data. 

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders. 

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • Goal-orientated and results driven approach to work, with the ability to meet and exceed expectations, targets and deadlines. 

  • Keen eye for detail, places great importance on accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proactive in approach with a flexible attitude
