Inventive Search are looking to recruit an experienced Software Engineer to augment and drive our clients team. 

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company delivers well designed, scalable, and high-quality software for customers and fuel the company’s growth.

You will be using JavaScript, utilising NoSQL solutions and cloud storage alongside containerised micro-services to create products. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven and extensive experience as a Senior Software or Web Developer;

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team;

  • Fantastic organisational and problem solving skills;

  • Ability to liaise and communicate with wider business;

  • Experience in JavaScript, Node.JS, React or Angular,HTML & CSS;

  • Agile development methodologies;

  • Facilitating builds and releases;

  • Technical experience in the following MongoDB, GraphQL, REST API’s, JSON, Redis, SQL Databases, Typescript, Microservices experience and/or design knowledge;

  • Experience of multiple operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows);

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree;

  • Agile process, Project Management and Jira;

  • Mentoring of more junior team members;

  • TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment.
