Account Director - Growth & AI Transformation

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Director to drive strategic growth and lead AI-powered transformation conversations across a diverse mid-market portfolio. This role is consultative, commercially focused, and ideal for someone confident engaging with C-Suite leaders and business owners to shape their technology and transformation roadmap.

You’ll work closely with internal consulting, cloud, data, and security teams to deliver measurable outcomes in growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, compliance, and resilience. This position offers significant earning potential, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence enterprise-level transformation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and develop a portfolio of mid-market accounts across multiple industries.

  • Engage C-level stakeholders to understand goals and align technology with business outcomes.

  • Lead complex sales cycles across AI, automation, cloud, data, and secure networking.

  • Work with consulting and technical teams to deliver business-led maturity assessments and transformation roadmaps.

  • Build clear Territory and Account Plans in collaboration with marketing and engineering teams.

  • Drive adoption across solutions such as:

    • AI and automation initiatives

    • Microsoft App Innovation (Power Platform, Azure DevOps)

    • Azure cloud modernisation & automation

    • Unified analytics with Microsoft Fabric

    • Secure networking and SASE solutions

  • Deliver measurable results across growth, efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation.

Qualifications-

Essential:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT sales, with strong exposure to cloud, data, or security solutions.

  • Proven track record of hunting, closing new opportunities, and growing accounts.

  • Confident engaging with senior leadership, including CEOs and business owners.

  • Ability to lead multi-solution, strategic sales cycles from discovery to delivery.

  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to articulate ROI-driven outcomes.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Microsoft or Fortinet technologies.

  • Background in selling AI, automation, cloud, or security transformation services.

  • Ability to operate across multiple industry verticals.
