Digital Marketing Manager

Inventive Search are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our clients award winning hand picked team.

The Role:

The digital marketing manager will work closely with the company’s wider marketing team & external agencies. The role will involve overseeing the overall digital marketing strategy, developing, implementing, tracking, and optimising digital marketing campaigns to ensure best campaign performance and demonstrable impact on business. The successful candidate must have a clear understanding of currenting marketing tools, SEO/PPC campaign planning and execution. You will also be responsible for measuring and monitoring performance and report accordingly, using tech platforms such as Google Data Studio or other specialist reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and examine all the campaign budgets;

  • Design and manage the entire digital marketing process. This role is inclusive of
    display advertising, email marketing, the company website and marketing
    databases;

  • Plan and control the company’s social media channels and company website;

  • Grow the website traffic and enable digital growth;

  • Work with our content marketing specialist on content creation and distribution;

  • Monitor the primary marketing metrics to establish the effectiveness of online
    advertising;

  • Report on the performance of digital marketing activities and compare the results
    against key performance indicators and ROI;

  • Review the brand message regularly to ascertain its consistency;

  • Develop a workable digital marketing strategy;

  • Collaborate with other supporting teams to create impressive client-centred landing
    pages;

  • Analysis of end-to-end customer experience in different digital channels;

  • Identify the latest digital technologies and current digital trends affecting the
    industry;

  • Prepare and execute conversion tests.

Skills & Experience: 

  • At least three years working experience in digital marketing roles with related specialist qualifications;

  • Practical experience in keyword research, SEO management, PPC, email and CRM;

  • Advanced experience of marketing and web analytics tools such as Google Ads, SEMRush and Google Analytics etc;

  • User experience knowledge and optimisation of buyer funnels and landing pages;

  • Practical skills in multivariate experiments and A/B and email marketing;

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript development, CSS, and HTML;

  • Updated on new technologies and the latest trends in digital marketing;

  • In-depth insights on all digital platforms;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with accuracy and clarity;

  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment;

  • Solid planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work;

  • Ability to carry out tasks to a high standard with a strong eye for attention to detail and thorough approach to their work.

Salary: 

Up to £35k pa
